Boomer blog receives journalism award
April 26, 2010
The Washington Press Association has awarded the Survive and Thrive Boomer Guide a first place for investigative reporting for the article “Which Airlines Are the Safest?”
I also received a second place award for the article “The Boomer Nation Loses Two of its Icons: Michael Jackson, 50, and Farrah Fawcett, 62,” which was posted on another blog I write, the Boomer Consumer. It appears on the Seattle Post-Intelligencer Web site.
It was nice to have my work recognized and to meet with other journalists for a lunch at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
