Deflation, food, and travel are the topics for this week’s Best of Boomer Blogs
July 23, 2013
Laura Lee Carter of the Midlife Crisis Queen is the host for this week’s Best of Boomer Blogs #318.
The boomer blog roundup is a collection of like-minded blogs
cooperating to share their best stories of interest to the Baby Boomer
Generation.
While Laura says she’s having a lovely summer in Northern Colorado, I’ve been sweltering at home in the Seattle area and in Sacramento where I vacationed. A look at the 15-day forecast shows nice weather for two more weeks. Not one bit of rain predicted.
As summer continues on, baby boomer bloggers, many of them sweltering like me, are writing about how deflation affects retirees, a proposal to set a limit on the amount of inorganic arsenic in apple juice, a seaside vacation in Cape Cod, and how travel has transformed boomer’s lives.
In addition to my blog and Laura’s, other members of the Best of Boomer Blogs are: Sightings Over 60, The Generation Above Me, and So Baby Boomer.
Be sure to stop by next week to see what boomer bloggers are writing about.
