Top 10 places to travel for Labor Day

Looking for a last-minute Labor Day trip? Or, if you live near one of these cities, want to join in the celebrations at a top, fun spot?

Here’s my list of America’s top 10 travel destinations for Labor Day 2013:

• Las Vegas

• New York City

• Chicago

• Orlando

• San Francisco

• Los Angeles

• Seattle

• Atlanta

• Denver

• Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale and Atlanta are new to the list this year, while Dallas and Boston dropped off.

I selected the cities after reading through several dozen travel websites. These cities appeared most often in the recommendations.
