Best wishes on Christmas Day

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, if Christmas is a day you celebrate.

I'm having a wonderful celebration with my family. Our Christmas Eve Dinner was fabulous: Roast Beef, Lamb Chops, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Bacon-Apple Stuffing, Cauliflower, Salad, Pumpkin Pie, and Christmas Cake.

Our Christmas Cake is now a family tradition. It's a birthday-cake type of cake that says Merry Christmas. When the kids were young, they didn't like the expensive Christmas cakes we bought. So we made a birthday cake and wrote Merry Christmas on it. They loved it and now look forward to it every year.

I usually wish people love, peace, and joy on Christmas, other holidays, and whenever I want to send them good wishes any day. My daughter gave me refrigerator magnets letters, with numbers like Scrabble letters, that say Peace, Love, and Harmony. That's pretty great.

So on Christmas Day, the holiest of days, my wish to you is for peace, love, and harmony in your lives. Merry Christmas.
