Baby boomer bloggers write about retirement, midlife, summer, and sports

Rhodies IMG_8393Amy Blitchok of the Modern Senior is the host for this week’s Best of Boomer Blogs #360.

In mid-June, my whole life right now seems to be taken up with pruning my 40 rhododendrons. Although I’ve hired a forester-blogging friend to help me, it’s still a big job.

While I managed to get a blog done on a survey that shows baby boomers and seniors, most of whom want to age in place, aren’t taking steps to remain independent as they age, Laura Lee Carter of the Midlife Crisis Queen writes about moving away from the town where her most important midlife changes occurred.

Tom Sightings of Sightings Over Sixty gives us funny quotes from English essay exams to celebrate the joy we feel at this time of year with memories of “school’s out,” and Amy Blitchok of the Modern Senior takes a look at World Cup history to get us ready for this year’s World Cup.

Be sure to click on the links above and leave a comment for these bloggers. Baby boomer bloggers love to get comments from readers.
