Baby boomer bloggers writing about health and life’s adventures

Donald_Duck.Laura Lee Carter of the Midlife Crisis Queen is the host for this week’s Best of Boomer Blogs #359.

Carter’s roundup is called the Donald Duck Edition to mark the 80th Anniversary of the creation of the cartoon character Donald Duck.

In 1934, Walt Disney decided Mickey Mouse needed a friend. Disney was inspired by the Australian cricket legend Donald Bradman, who made news for being dismissed for a duck against the New York West Indians.

More seriously, Carter offers this report on what boomer bloggers are writing about:

  • Sightings Over Sixty: Tom Sightings was at a restaurant the other day and wondered when and under what circumstances the waiter brings you clean silverware.
  • Midlife Crisis Queen: Laura Lee Carter is in the throes of major change over at because she and her husband are moving south next week to build a passive solar home and get off the grid… at least halfway. Their new home will be called “On the Edge.”

Be sure to take a look at these boomer blogs. And, leave a comment. Boomer bloggers love to hear from readers.
