Best wishes on the Summer Solstice
June 21, 2014
We’re finally having some great weather here in the Seattle area.
I’m enjoying being outdoors.
I’m:
Eating raspberries from my raspberry patch.
Dreaming about the wonderful vegetables I’m going to get later: kale, Swiss chard, carrots, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, and yellow zucchini.
Thanking my lucky stars I had help pruning my 40 rhododendrons.
Getting ready to rake up the rest of the clippings from a big pruning day Thursday.
Happy Summer Solstice. I love spring and summer. Warmth and growing plants are good for the soul.
