Baby boomer bloggers writing about living, making friends, and little known current events
October 27, 2014
Meryl Baer of Six Decades and Counting is the host for this week’s Best of Boomer Blogs #379.
As Halloween approaches, boomer bloggers are writing about the experience of being alive.
Topics include:
- When was the last time you felt passionately alive.
- The finances of seniors on Social Security.
- What happened to a 93-year-old woman who was killed in Texas.
- A survey that finds 42 percent of Americans probably won’t review a health insurance plan’s details before signing up.
- The struggles to make new connections when moving to a small town.
- Why one boomer travels a lot, calling herself a regular road warrior.

As a Baby Boomer Blogger, I find that while most boomers accept the fact that they are getting older, they can't accept feeling older. Most are looking forward to maintaining the same lifestyle they have become use to. Articles about aging gracefully and aging healthy are formost with most Boomer Bloggers.
