Lenders continue to fail to help student loan borrowers, pushing them into default

Today’s consumer tip: Don’t buy a Meijer projector Halloween flashlight for your trick or treater

Flashlight HalloweenMeijer is recalling about 8,600 projector flashlights because the flashlight can overheat and melt the plastic handle, posing a burn risk to the user.

The projector is a flashlight with cap that holds special lenses to project messages and images on walls or other surfaces.

It was sold at Meijer stores from September 2014 to October 2014 for about $3.

Consumers should immediately stop using the flashlight, remove the batteries, and return it to a Meijer store or contact Meijer for a refund.

For more information, call Meijer at 800-927-8699 anytime or visit www.meijer.com and click on Product Recalls at the bottom of the page.
