Baby boomer bloggers tackling divorce, memories

Snow 6a00e55008157688340167610a71aa970b-piMeryl Baer of Six Decades and Counting is the host for this week’s Best of Boomer Blogs #387.

In the cold and snow, which is blanketing many areas of the country as January chugs along, baby boomer bloggers are writing about divorce and memories.

One boomer blogger reports on gray divorce, divorce among those 50 and older, which has doubled of the in the last 20 years while the divorce rate for other age groups has dropped. In January, more people are thinking about divorce as the filings for divorce increase by one third.

Another boomer blogger writes about divorce, remarriage, and the time for transformation in between.

Two boomer bloggers are absorbed in memories. One the bittersweet memories of a child leaving home and the other recounting memories of traveling to Florida as a child and returning now to visit with children and grandchildren.

Whether you live where it snows or rains, good luck surviving winter weather. I live where it rains a lot, and I’ve been wet up to my knees twice during recent storms. I’m so looking forward to spring.
