Top places to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2015

St. Patrick's Day Crowd Main_stpatricksday201446666_6193I’m looking forward to St. Patrick’s Day. I’m going to Ireland to visit soon, so I’ll be enjoying the “wearin’ of the green” day here before I leave.

I even plan to go to a pub for a drink, hopefully green.

What are the best cities for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day?

National Geographic recommends these cities for their fabulous parades:

  • New York City
  • Boston
  • Chicago
  • Savannah, Ga.
  • Montserrat, West Indies
  • Montreal
  • Dublin, Ireland
  • Birmingham, England
  • Cabo Roig, Spain
  • Auckland, New Zealand

PeterGreenberg.com says you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day all over the world and offers this list of great spots:

  • O’Neill, Nebraska
  • Ise, Japan
  • Dublin, Ohio
  • New London, Wisconsin
  • Florence, Italy
  • Chicago
  • Sydney, Australia
  • San Francisco
  • Dublin, Ireland

TogetherWeRoam recommends these places to visit with kids:

  • Dublin, Ireland
  • New York City
  • South Boston
  • Chicago
  • Birmingham, England
  • Sydney, Australia
  • Vancouver, Canada
  • Monteserrat, West Indies
  • London

I hope you have a great St. Patrick’s Day. Most cities have fun celebrations where you can enjoy yourself. To have a good time wear green, avoid pinching, and drink your favorite green-colored beverage.
