About 48.7 million Americans will be traveling this Thanksgiving. Are you one of them?

I’m lucky to be able to spend the holiday with my daughter and her family.

After losing a dear friend recently, I’m more aware of how precarious life is. We just don’t know much time we have left. It’s important to make every day, every hour count.

I’m happy to have good health, to be able to travel, and have interesting and rewarding blogging work to do.

My goals are to make a difference and get as much joy as I can in life.

So, if Thanksgiving is a day you celebrate, I hope you have a great day.

And to those of you who are helping others today, thank you very much.
