This time of year is fabulous. Along with good weather, we get wonderful fruits and vegetables, including great food from the garden.
At the local co-op this week, I found wonderful peaches, big, nice, and juicy - just like the ones I picked off the trees when I was growing up in Central Washington.
Since I watch my sugar intake, I don't make pies any more - cookies either. But the peaches are tasty with yogurt for breakfast.
