Happy Earth Day 2018

EarthAt no time in our nation’s history have we faced bigger environmental challenges than we face today.

With the Trump administration slashing environmental rules, such as regulations that prohibit factory waste from being dumped into rivers, we are in danger of losing hard-fought environmental gains that have been made over the last several decades.

It’s imperative that consumers stand up for the environment. In addition to working individually on environmental issues in your community, you can join an environmental organization

Here are organizations I think do good work:

The Environmental Working Group

The Sierra Club

Earthjustice

National Resources Defense Council

Friends of the Earth

Environmental Defense Fund

National Audubon Society

Earth Island Institute

Greenpeace International

Washington Toxics Coalition

Pesticide Action Network, or PAN is a good organization, also NCAP: Northwest Coalition Against Pesticides.

Hi Azure,

Thanks for mentioning the Pesticide Action Network. I'm familiar with their work and have quoted their articles. I haven't heard of the Northwest Coalition Against Pesticides. I'll check out their website.
