Happy New Year
January 01, 2021
Like most people, I’m glad 2020 is gone. However, I know that we’re going to have a lot more of the challenging stuff that happened in 2020 continuing into 2021.
While the stock market flourished and some corporations made enormous profits, nearly 10 million more Americans are now unemployed compared with last February.
Food insecurity, hunger, is climbing with 12.7 percent of households experiencing food insecurity, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. In addition, 9.1 percent of households are experiencing housing insecurity.
At least, Congress finally passed and President Trump eventually signed a second stimulus package. The $600 stimulus payments aren’t as good as $2,000, but at least it’s something
Also on the brighter side, vaccines have been approved and are beginning to be administered. While this is positive, we’ll all need to continue wearing masks, social distancing, and staying home as much as possible throughout most of the year.
As the New Year unfolds, I’ll be writing about some happenings in 2020 that are important for consumers — the top consumer stories and which corporations got the highest fines.
I’ll also continue to give you the latest consumer and personal finance news to help you make smart consumer choices throughout the New Year.
Best wishes to us all in 2021. It made me happy to type 1-1-21 next to the headline when I saved this article.
Finally the new year has arrived. I hope that all the bad things remain in 2020 and 2021 will be good for all of us. In addition to Covid 19, I had certain problems in my family life, but I was able to solve them using cell phone tracker. This software gave me the opportunity to find out all the information from my wife's phone and I made sure that my wife is not cheating on me. I'm happy!
