February 04, 2022
A record share of American workers are quitting their jobs, thanks in part to a strong economy and a labor shortage. That means there are a lot of people looking for new jobs.
How do workers go about finding a new, great job?
Glassdoor, a website that offers information about jobs and companies, has announced the winners of its 14th annual Employees’ Choice Awards, featuring the best places to work in 2022 across the United States and four other countries.
The awards are based on the input of employees who voluntarily provide anonymous feedback on Glassdoor by completing a company review about their job, work environment, and employer over the past year.
The top 10 best places to work in 2022 are:
- NVIDIA – 4.6 rating
- HubSpot – 4.6

- Box – 4.6
- Boston Consulting Group – 4.5

In the U.S., Glassdoor also offers a list of the 100 best places to work for employers with 1,000 or more employees, and the 50 best small and medium companies to work for employers with fewer than 1,000 employees.
Winners are ranked based on their overall rating achieved during the past year on a five-point scale.
“The world of work is rapidly evolving, fueled by the pandemic and now millions of workers reevaluating their expectations of employers,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor CEO. “This year’s Best Places to Work winners are leading the way by listening and responding to employee feedback and reimagining the employee experience to truly put their people first.”

Yes, I also hadn't heard of most of them. It's good Glassdoor does this review. It would be nice to have a great boss. All the ones I had were average, several were rude, and one was abusive.

I am 'out of it'. Never heard of many of these companies. I am sure a lot of my skills are obsolete in today's business world.
