More than 580,000 beds are being recalled after dozens of injuries

Bed Frame RecalledHome Design is recalling 517,177 upholstered low profile standard and platform beds in the United States and 55,857 in Canada.

The recalled beds can break, sag, or collapse during use, posing fall and injury hazards to consumers. The company has received 128 reports of incidents, involving 36 injuries.

This recall involves several different models and sizes of upholstered low profile standard and platform beds. Click here for details.

The bed were sold at Wayfair, Walmart.com, and Overstock.com from July 2018 through November 2023. Prices ranged from $100 to $300.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled beds and contact Home Design for free replacement slats and side rails, the company and U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advise. Consumers need to send a photo of the bed and the law label, or proof of purchase, to [email protected] to receive the repair. Home Design is contacting known purchasers.
