Origin 21 wall mirrors sold only at Lowe’s are being recalled due to risk of cuts and bruises
August 04, 2024
“Mirror, mirror on the wall …” Oops, it fell.
Huahong Art Home Shares is recalling about 27,400 oval and rectangle black framed wall mirrors.
The recalled mirrors can detach from the metal hanger, causing the mirror to fall, posing a risk of cuts and bruises.
Huahong has received 15 reports of the mirrors falling due to the hanger problem. No injuries have been reported.
This recall involves the Origin 21 oval and rectangle wall mirrors. They were sold in black metal frames, with the rectangle mirror, model number L1-MH-1647, measuring 22-inches wide and 31-inches long, and the oval mirror, model number L1-MH-1693, measuring 24-inches wide and 36-inches long. The model numbers are on a label on the mirror’s back.
The mirrors were sold at Lowe’s Stores nationwide and online at Lowes.com from October 2023 through April 2024. The cost was between $60 and $80.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mirrors, and contact Huahong for instructions on how to get a refund, the company and U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advise. Consumers will be asked to email photos of the mirror or to arrange for a pre-paid shipping box.
