Bloggers are busy as summer fades away and fall emerges
September 29, 2024
It’s so much fun in the fall to go to Chelan, Washington, and visit with my high school classmates. Lake Chelan is so beautiful.
And new, since I lived there, are wineries, a fantastic diversification to the famous apple industry of Central Washington. My sister and I, both graduates of Chelan High School, visited seven wineries in two days. We each came home with four bottles of wine to enjoy.
My blogging friends also are busy as the fall season begins. Here are their reports:
Meryl Baer
We change as we age, and Meryl Baer, of Musings of A Shore Life, acknowledged that fact and took steps to continue a favorite sport, but with modifications. She explains her change in this week’s post “Little Girl’s Bicycle or Old Lady’s Bike?”
Carol Cassara
Over on her blog, Carol A. Cassara Writer, Cassara talks about the complexities of our times and how self-destructive behavior spills over into politics. Read her thoughts on the topic at “How Our Own Self-destructive Behavior Will Do Us In.”
Laurie Stone
Sometimes we become so fixed on the scary things in life, we risk missing the beautiful moments. This happened recently when Laurie Stone, of Laurie Stone Writes, and her mom went to see Stone’s husband play bass in his band at an outdoor waterfront restaurant in Norwalk, Connecticut. She knew this evening would be touching but hadn’t realized how much.
Rebecca Olkowski
Don’t you love it when bloggers tell you how to dress and do your makeup? Well, Rebecca Olkowski, with BabyBoomster.com, does just that. She wrote a post with a video that talks about “6 Beauty and Fashion Blunders That Make You Look Older.” Take a look and see if any of the suggestions fit.
